SIX FACTORS OF CONSTRUCTION

We believe that there are six phases of construction that must be managed successfully to achieve a successful project;

Cost - Whether it is a preliminary budget, or a detailed lump sum cost estimate, the cost of all projects must be measured and monitored

Time - Most projects are either cost sensitive or time sensitive, irregardless time has a direct correlation with cost; the faster you want it done the higher the cost, and the longer it takes the higher the cost. It takes trained construction professionals to find the median.

Safety - No matter how valuable the project is,  it can not, and  will not be more valuable than human life;  having said that one accident can be directly responsible for huge and sometimes catastrophic financial losses.

Quality - The purpose of building codes and regulations are to protect the occupants of buildings and surrounding structures from damage to, and from buildings built to less stringent standards; needless to say who wants to pay for construction services that are not to the standard intended.

Scope - To achieve true quality, the building must be constructed to the standards set out in the design program this includes building codes, design intent, drawings, specifications, change orders and maintenance life cycle if included.

End User Function -  To achieve ultimate project success the building must meet the needs of the intended users or its intended use.
